From lug to lug this Gruen gold filled signed case is 39mm long and wide less the crown it is 34mm. The is stainless steel snap in back with no personal engravings. The serial number for this case is G-823,581 and the case reference number is 420/534-SS. The dial is absolutely fantastic with a beautiful patina as it is original and aged to perfection. The hands are original and the crystal is acrylic and a replacement and it is perfect. This is a well serviced manual wind Gruen caliber 420-SS and there are 17 clean and inspected jewels to this "veri-Thin" model movement. All parts inspected for flaws and cleaned properly with our professional cleaning machine and the outcome with a new main spring is a great time keeper for sure. This piece was produced in house at the Gruen Swiss factory in the year 1947. The band is 26mm in width not a bend not a flaw and leather naturally ;-)/ All seals have been changed.
