A fabulous fine silk art-to-wear jacket from the wonderful boutique label Zuzka, Fabricology. Zuzka Kurtz is fabulous art-to-wear designer who sold beautiful hand-made, rich, and extremely expensive garments in the 1990s, with lines at Bergdorf Goodman on the Plaza. Her creations were made with the finest silks, cashmere, brocades, hand-dyed velvets...the clothing is rich and beautiful....and should you see any of it come to the market, BUY....it is for those who appreciate art and beauty in clothing....really something special....and hand-made. We, for one, really, really enjoy her exceptional clothing. Ive seen it in closets of important people and billionaires....all with a certain panache....

This piece is a superior velvet jacket...done in a very rich and regal dark purple. It is completely embroidered, most likely by hand, throughout. A color, tropical, dizzying parrot scene. It is much better in real life than photos may suggest.
