First edition of Bird Life in an Arctic Spring in the original publishers cloth binding. 

From the diaries of Dan Meinertzhagen and R. P. Hornby, compiled to create this lovely and uncommon work of ornithology. 

Densely illustrated with twenty monochrome plates throughout the work and with thirty three additional plates to the rear. Collated, complete. 

Prior owners book plate to the first pastedown.


CONDITION

In the original publishers cloth binding. Externally, sound. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. This has resulted in some slight wear to the cloth in these areas. The front board is also slightly worn. Prior owners book plate to the first pastedown. Internally, generally firmly bound. The title page is working loose. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot and age toning.
