7.5x9.5 B&W vintage photograph signed "Best Wishes to Marjorie from Buck Clayton" in fountain pen ink. The upper left corner is torn, with pin-holes in the corners, creasing, and wear throughout. In fine condition. The photo is really old, maybe from the 1930s. On the verso, is collections written property of Marjorie Brown ...Nov 16, 1933 Thurs. Roxy Theatre, Seattle, Wash.

(1911-1991) Buck Clayton was an American jazz trumpeter who was a member of Count Basies orchestra. His principal influence was Louis Armstrong, who first hearing the record "Confessin That I Love You" as he passed by a shop window.
